How To Use Facebook’s Messenger Bots Right Now?

How To Use Facebook’s Messenger Bots Right Now?

If you are scratching your brains wondering how bots on Facebook look like and how do they operate, calm down. These are simple bots dedicated to a particular service and you can use them right now.
But, at the moment, they are pretty confusing and unintuitive. Many times the bots don’t know what to do and you end up struggling getting any work done.
To make things easier for you, I tried Facebook Messenger Bots myself. I started with Facebook’s very own F8 bot. You can access it via m.me/f8bot. As you visit this URL on your phone, you’ll be asked to choose Messenger or Facebook app to proceed.
I chose Messenger and here are the screenshots of my chat with F8 Messenger Bot.

Next, I decided to try out another Facebook Messenger Bot that was showed off during the F8 keynote. Yes, I’m talking about Poncho, the weather-bot that pretends to be a cat. Chatting to Poncho was better than my F8 bot experience. You can access Poncho via http://m.me/hiponcho.
You can find Poncho and other bots like CNN, WSJ etc. at botlist.co and use them right away.
Here’s how my chat with Poncho turned out:

Install custom ROM to your smartphone.

Hello everyone , Welcome to UserX , today we will like to introduce you about custom ROM .
Most of you might be aware of that and most won't.
So let get to the point.

What is ROM ?

Without getting in deep , in simple words a ROM is modified version of Android. If you are using Xiaomi Phones, then you are using MIUI ROM , if you are using Huawei Phones then you are using EMUI , and if you are using HTC phones then you will be using SENSE ROM.

It means most of the companies modify the original android , (if you have ever used NEXUS phones , they are pure android directly from google without any modifications.)
When you buy a new phone , the originally installed ROM is called Stock ROM.

What is Custom ROM ?

Now , if you are bored with your stock ROM or wanna try some new ROM on your phone , then there are many ways you can do so , that is installing the ROM of other mobiles , to your mobile.
(Like installing iOS to your android phone , isn't it cool ?) or (installing Samsung Galaxy S6's ROM to your Redmi Mi4). Obiviously it sounds nice.

So let's begin ,

What you Need ?

1. Rooted Android Phone.

2. Custom Recovery , (TWRP or ClockWorkMOd)

3.Custom ROM for your phone From here.

Once you've downloaded the files and set up your device , you can follow along the instructions from right Here. And amke sure to back up your Stock ROM before continuing the process.

If you have any questions please let us know in the comment section.

Samsung Galaxy S7 hack allows you to use Dual-SIM and MicroSD together

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge hack will allow you to use microSD and dual SIMs at same time

Samsung has launched its new flagship, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. While both the new Samsung smartphones have been heartily welcomed by Android fans worldwide, they lament the fact that Samsung has not provided a separate slot for SIM as well as MicroSD card in the dual-SIM enabled Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge dual-SIM smartphone version buyers can either choose additional storage through microSD card and a single SIM card or dual SIMs and no additional storage. However resourceful hackers have found a way to bypass this restriction and add both dual-SIM and microSD capability to the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone.
The hack which has surfaced online requires some modifications to your SIM card and your microSD card so that you can use both SIM slots and a microSD card at the same time. Do remember that the modifications are risk and you might destroy your SIM card and your microSD in the process. There is also a chance you might damage your new smartphone, so beware.
For modification process you need a nano SIM card, lighter, scissors, tape or glue, memory card, and the willingness to risk your new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This hack requires you to heat up the back of the SIM card and then hack the actual SIM chip away from the plastic backing leaving you with only the gold contacts and no plastic surrounding it. You then have to precisely trim that SIM card.
Once you have the card trimmed per the steps according to a tutorial posted by noreplied, you have to glue or tape the SIM chip to your microSD card in a precise location.
maxis-hot-link-sim
The modification also requires some precise and skillful engineering especially while removing the chip from the Nano SIM.
celcom-sim-remove-1
Next, with the same precision you have to trim your SIM card.
nano-sim-chip-trim

As it turns out the trimmed SIM card can fit onto the microSD card in such a way that the contacts for the memory card can be read at the same time the SIM is read in the dual-purpose slot.
attach-nano-sim-micro-sd
If you trim and glue precisely enough, you should be able to configure the new SIM card with the dual SIM manager application in Galaxy S7 Edge.
If you see the dual-SIM option that means you have done a pretty good engineering job. Once done, your engineering feat will give you both a second SIM card and additional storage to enjoy for your content.
Remember you have to follow all the steps precisely otherwise you may end up messing your brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone.

How to use Google Offline Maps: Navigate without an internet connection

How to use Google Offline Maps: Navigate without an internet connection.

How to use Google Offline Maps: Downloading a map

The way that the Offline feature works is by downloading the actual map for a locale directly onto your smartphone. Obviously you’ll want to do this before you set off, as a large map could eat into your data plan and of course the reason you’re downloading it is that you might not have a signal where you’re going. Google has limited the size of the map you can install on your device, but as this currently stands at 120,000 square kilometres, so you should be good for most trips.
To download a map you’ll first need to open the Maps app on your smartphone or tablet, then search for the area, city, desolate wasteland that you intend to visit. When you find the place you’ll see its name in a white area at the bottom of the screen. Tap on this and the area will slide up, revealing more details about the locality. To save it to your device simply tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and you’ll see the option Download offline area appear if you’re using an Android phone or Save Offline map for iOS users. Tap this, confirm your selection, and the map will be installed on your handset.
Use Google Maps offline

How to use Google Offline Maps: navigation

As Android is a Google product, the advanced offline features have been implemented on this platform first, with no doubt similar to follow on iOS. To get started open up the Maps app and tap on the blue circle in the bottom right corner. This brings up the search option where you can enter your start and finish points. At the moment the offline mode will only allow you to have driving navigation, so walking or public transport are out, and as you might have already worked out there will be no traffic information available either. Once you’ve entered the route details tap the blue circle with the arrow in it and you’ll now be able to drive to your destination without the need of an internet connection.

iOS users are currently limited to viewing only, as navigation and route calculations are still to be introduced. To find the locally stored maps on your iOS device tap the three lines menu option again and then tap Your places and scroll down to offline maps. Now you can use the information in much the same way as a paper map, albeit without the need to unfold it out to something resembling a blanket. Keep an eye out for updates to Maps on iOS, as the navigation feature will surely arrive pretty soon.

How to set up a new Android phone or tablet

Step One
Put your SIM-card into your new device if it's a smartphone or a tablet with mobile data connectivity.

Step Two

Step Five
With an active Wi-Fi connection, sign into your Google account with your usual email address and password. If you don't have a Google account then you can create one now.
Some devices will ask you if you want to sign into other services and networks like Facebook, Twitter and Dropbox. You can do this now or later when you open the apps.

Step Six
Next you'll be given a set of options relating to Google services such as backup and location. Untick any boxes you wish and carry on.
You can adjust backup and location preferences later so don't worry too much now.

Step Seven
Since we're using a Nexus device, the next step asks whether you want to use Google Now which provides helpful information such as news, weather, sports scores and travel data. Other devices such as those from Samsung or Sony might prompt you to sign up for different accounts.

Step Eight
That should conclude the set up process but as we mentioned earlier, different devices will have different steps. You are likely to be welcomed to your new device and might be shown a brief tutorial on how to do things like customise the wallpaper, widgets and settings.
